After settling into the hotel, we walked over to the galleria to explore and meet up with Justin and Courtney and their kiddos for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. The girls loved all the noises and animals and their food. Especially the light up cups that would set anyone off that had a seizure disorder!

The mastermind behind the light-up cup craze at our table! :) They had a great night. On our way back to the hotel, we made a pit stop at the Hello Kitty store where "A" scored on a bottle of sparkly nail polish. Then we stopped by the Godiva kiosk for a chocolate covered strawberry for "L", a milk chocolate truffle for "A" and a chocolate dipped macaroon for me. Sadly, Brooks did not get anything? He did have a headache and the nice gentleman at the hotel front desk did have some free advil.
We called it a night. "A" actually slept pretty well on the fold out sofa in the suite. "L" on the other hand made it about 2 hours and then ended up torturing Brooks and I. The room was a little warm and she was all over the bed with hands and legs in our faces. Needless to say, she had a good long nap on the ride home!
We enjoyed our little quick trip to Houston. It was great catching up with Justin and family and we wish them the best on this next leg of their journey!
