We took a quick trip to Houston to visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science and Justin & Courtney. The girls did great! "A" loved the dinosaurs and the butterfly exhibit. Here they are at the beginning of their butterfly experience.
Compared to the temperature outside, it was very warm and humid inside the butterfly exhibit. We saw tons of species and learned alot about these beautiful little creatures.
One thing we did not expect..."L" was scared of the butterflies! She kept telling Brooks that "they are going to eat me!" We explained to her that they were safe and pretty and not to worry. Regardless, it still took her some time warming up to the 100's of butterflies flying around her.
I did not bring my good camera....so these pictures were taken with my simple point and shoot camera.
