On our way to grandma's house we go..... we stopped off at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine for 1 night and had a blast. We really were not sure what to expect and if the girls would even like it.
After a few hours in the car, we made it safely. The girls enjoyed sitting in this big chair while Brooks checked us in. Who can co wrong with a pizza hut and starbucks on site?
"A" especially loved going on the "quests". She picked a pink magic wand of course! Brooks and her ran all over the hotel and still did not finish. Not to worry, we will be back soon!
While Brooks and "A" were busy on their quests, "L" and I had storytime in the lobby with a talking tree. Pretty cool. We also scouted out a treats place and picked up a couple of cupcakes. Yum! "L" loved the gift shop and had fun playing in the big pile of colored gems/rocks. The room was nice. Plenty of room. The food was way overpriced and we will do things differently next time.
The girls loved the waterpark. "A" and Brooks went down the big slides and "A" is almost tall enough to ride all of them. "L" and I hung out in the smaller area where she quickly learned how to manipulate herself in the water and managed to do 2 small water slides by herself.
We all enjoyed the funnel cake and hot dog outside! The outside water area was alot of fun as well and a good way to get some sun! We will be back soon for sure!
