Grandma Piggott comes to play!!!

Yay....Grandma Piggott made it safely! I officially have started my PRN position at Seton. Which means lots of orientation and lots of time away from home for 2 weeks. Grandma Piggott flew down to help out and boy are we ever so grateful!

Day one for me was general orientation. Not so exciting and a long day. Day one for Grandma P. was spent playing and enjoying the warm weather outside. Brooks finished fixing the fence. A very big endeavor that he took on and finished. Thanks to our fabulous neighbor for helping out!
Day one ended with a trip to after hours care for "L". Grandma said she wasn't herself and was not eating. Mild fever. We were lucky to see our own pediatrician who suspects she has hand foot and mouth disease. Yay.... and this sucks!!!

Day 2 was the first day for me on site at the hospital. A beautiful hospital. Lots of computer work and more orientation. Day 2 for Grandma was inside due to the wet and much cooler weather and 1 sick grandbaby and 1 coughing granddaughter. Let's pray that grandma doesn't get any of the above. However, she did help Lucy finish some of her food on day 1, so we are waiting and watching.

These girls love their grandparents! Thank you Judy for coming down to help us out! We love you and couldn't have done this without your help this week. They miss you too Grandpa P.

More to come...still day 3 and 4 for this week!

Congrats on the new job, Sheelagh! Too bad about the sickies finding your house this week - hopefully everyone will be 100% healthy again soon!
