First Day of Mother's Day Out 2009!!

We have had a very busy week! A week full of firsts! "A" started ballet/tap combo and she absolutely loves it! It was fun to see a bunch of 4 & 5 year olds all dolled up for dance class. Surprisingly, all the girls seemed to listen very well to the dance instructor.

Abby all dressed and ready for ballet.

This was also the first week for mother's day out! I really did not know what to expect. Having some time to myself a few days a week is very nice! "L" loves school! She just heads right into the classroom without hesitation and love it! "A" is in the pre-K class this year. This is a big change for her. The tables are set up differently and they eat in a cafeteria. She is also in a different building this year. "A" had a rough first day but on her second day she did great and is now very excited to go to pre-K. She has never liked change, but I'm very proud of her for going with the flow this week.

Like we don't have enough going on already! ;) Next week swim starts back up for "A". She will swim 2 nights a week. Have dance 1 day a week and school 2 days a week. Whew! We love it!

Vision Update: "A" has her 6 month vision check-up coming up in October. She still patches and is still doing her vision therapy projects. We can tell a difference which is good. The left eye still is not staying turned on all the time, and we still need that to happen. Please continue to keep "A" and her left eye in your prayers.
Hugs to all! -sheelagh
