Hot August Days!

August is here and almost gone! And boy has it ever been a hot one! "L" now has 4 teeth all on the bottom and is about to cut her 2 front teeth at any moment now. She pulls herself to a standing position and cruises while holding on. She is 10 1/2 months old. Today we pulled the "FARM" out. Now, who else remembers their own version of this oldie but goodie of a toy? I do! ? My sister and I played with one at Grandma Fran's house and loved it! As you can see, the horse is mighty tasty!

Oh yes, and we now point to objects with our finger and make some noise. No real words yet. Still just "da-da" and "ba-ba" and thing that sound like real words, but not really. Why did we not bring the farm out sooner? "L" love it just as much as "A" did and still does.
We did take a trip to Midland to visit some friends and the trip was cut short due to "A" becoming ill and needing some rehydration. "A" is almost back to normal. We will have to make the trip again soon! Brooks is busy working. I'm working 2 shifts a week. Alot of our friends are having 2nd and 3rd kids and all of our friends are having birthday's in the next few months, so it's party central on the weekends here!

Sounds like thunder and rain. Need to get dinner started. Hugs!
